Crosswinds Marina is nestled in the heart of Whitehall and offers a serine setting to sit and relax while watching boats float by on the way out to Lake Michigan. You're a five minute walk to downtown Whitehall where you can visit local restaurants/pubs, Fetch Brewery and shopping. Crosswinds on the lake restaurant is located next to the marina and offers outside dining with a great view of White Lake. The perfect way to end your evening with a cocktail and appetizers while watching the sunset! A few other local restaurants to check out are Old Channel Inn, Pub 111, The Chamber Bar, and Buzz's Lakeside Inn (Buzz's also offers outside dining with a great view of White Lake!).

For fresh locally grown produce, flowers, meats, cheeses, eggs, fish, coffee and much more take a 20 minute ride by car into Muskegon Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. and visit the Muskegon Farmers Market at 242 West Western Ave. After that take a stroll down Western Avenue and enjoy some of the local shopping (including our new "micro shops"), restaurants, Rootdown yoga studio/smoothie bar, Unruly or Pigeon Hill breweries, Oceana Winery, 18th Amendment distillery and wood fired pizzas, Rebel Pies, RAD DADS taco and tequila bar, or Top Shelf Pizza.

Michigan's Adventure amusement park is a 15 minute drive by car to the South and a great way to spend the day. Take a 15 minute ride by car to the north and visit Double JJ Resort for horseback riding, Thoroughbred Golf Course and Gold Rush indoor water park. Other area attractions include Country Dairy (guided farm tours, ice cream, and deli), Lewis Farm Market 700 acre farm with a petting zoo, 30+ attractions and games, bakery and farm market. Take a scenic car ride to Silver Lake and experience Mac Wood's Dune Rides. If stock car racing is your thing, check out Winston Speedway in Rothbury, on Friday nights.

Or take a ride into Muskegon and check out a few breakfast places we're known for like Mr. B's Pancake House, Toast 'N Jams, Steak 'N Egger, Carmen's Cafe, or Hennessy's Pub and Whiskey Bar (yes they serve breakfast).

Up for an adventure? Take the Sea Turtle out for the day during your stay (if you're comfortable with driving the boat yourself) and spend the afternoon exploring the almost 2600 acres of beautiful White Lake. We are known for our world class fishing so don't forget your fishing poles!
